How did this come to our attention?
We all have a craving to eat something delicious everyday. Eating our favourite food or cuisine rejuvenates our taste buds & gives us satisfaction.
People love to explore different cuisines & even travel to different nations to taste new variety of foods. There are also some people who don’t go too far & love their home cooked meals. People flocking to gyms have their diet consciousness meals.
Despite people having their own preferences to consume food & have different eating habits, People like to gather in social gatherings for ages to have food together which increases the bond between them & they get to know each other better.
Everybody has a different way of consuming food as per their purpose & needs.

Although there is a healthy exchange of values, opinions & thoughts, in between something goes for a toss. The food which they eat & share is not fully consumed which leads to wastage in large amounts.
People who organize such gatherings & also the people who are responsible for providing catering services do not ensure that the food left from the gatherings should not be thrown & instead be donated to hungry or homeless people or they can also give the food to their support staff who are responsible for maintenance & other services.
These are few such measures which these people can reap benefits from & avoid wastage of food because millions of people still go to sleep without food & many are still undernourished.
There are various organizations & religious societies who are organizing food camps to feed these people & make sure that they don’t sleep in hunger.
Food produced by our farmers takes months to nurture & then serve on our table so we should make sure that we only eat as per our intake & requirement so that wastage is minimal.
