How did this come to our attention?
We all have seen how much income & social disparity we have in our society. The gap under this disparity has seen a rapid growth in recent times. Basically, this gap is also seen as a gap between rich & poor.
The number of people falling in the trap of poverty & economically weaker sections has seen quite a rise as compared to people falling in middle income & higher income strata of our society. We tend to spend loads of money on buying apparels & garments from big brands but the people from lower income groups like daily wage labourer, tea stall owner, factory worker etc don’t have enough funds to buy different dresses for everyday. They only rely on one or maximum two dresses for their daily chores keeping aside funds for other major necessities like food & shelter.
Even old age people living in care homes, because maybe they are neglected by their families due to their age & also no monthly pension support from the govt.rely on limited clothing options for leading their daily life. The plight of these people motivates us to bring a change in leading their daily lives by providing them with access to proper clothing.
We calibrate with people who maybe volunteers associated with us or non volunteers who just want to help as many people they want by providing us with old recycled clothes or clothes they have never worn & in return we value their efforts by providing them with Proof Of Copy so that they get to know that their donations or aid are reaching the maximum number of people. This helps us to build better trust & foster healthy relationships with our volunteers or people coming forward to help.

Some Do’s & Dont’s when you donate clothes:
First we shall identify which clothes we have to donate. To make this identification process easier we shall answer some of the questions like :
- Anything collecting dust at the bottom of our closet or drawer & we dont wear now can be given for donation.
- Any apparel which has become too short or too tight
- Even some design has gone outdated & doesnt fit our style statement need to be thrown & should instead donated
- Also, any high end branded suit which may be we have used 10 or 15 years ago & is now lying vacant can also be given to any needy student who needs to look sharp & crisp for a job interview.
Things that should not be donated:
- Never donate your undergarments, there should not be any debate about it maybe how old they get. They need to be bought new.
- Any spots, stains or holes should be dealt with ourselves & are not mean to be donated.
- Any stingy or uneven smell in clothes is also not fit for donation.
